Allergy test

allergy_385x261An allergy is the inappropriate response by the body’s immune system to a substance that is not normally harmful. The Immune system is a highly complex defense mechanism that helps us to combat infections. It does this by identifying “foreign bodies” and mobilizing the body’s white blood cells to fight them.

In some people, the immune system wrongly identifies a non-toxic substance as an invader, and the blood cells overreact and do more damage to the body than the invader. Thus, the allergic response becomes a disease itself.

Allergy and intolerance are not the same. Intolerance does not provoke the immune system to produce antibodies and is therefore not detectable in the blood. Both however weaken the immune system and therefore make you receptive for other health problems. Especially with food allergies and food intolerance the body has adapted itself to the substance, but due to the weakened immune system you might have other health problems or other allergic reactions. They can also be the cause of a malfunctioning digestive system that might provoke reactions as irritable bowel syndrome, overweight, sleeping disorder, joint problems and many more.

Through a very simple muscle test you can experience what you are allergic to and if specific allergic reactions are related to other – hidden – allergies. The test can be combined with diet advising, giving you clear insight in what would be the optimum diet for you, helping you to lose weight without effort, gain energy and detoxify your body.
